Funeral services for Dalton Wilmoth, age 90, of Spring City formerly of Rickman, will be held Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Joe Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow in Wilmoth Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8, 2018, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home. Mr. Wilmoth passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born Thursday, March 1, 1928 in Rickman, Tennessee to the late Jubie Collins Wilmoth and Rachel Alma Petty Wilmoth. He enjoyed family and friends and the outdoors enjoying nature.

Celebration Of Life Services For Kelly Ladd, Age 37, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted At 6:30 PM On Thursday, November 8, 2018, At The Monterey Wesleyan Church, 330 East New Avenue, Monterey, Tennessee. Rev. Ted Stepp Will Officiate. Inurnment Will Follow In Vermont At A Later Date. Miss Ladd Passed Away On Monday, November 5, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center After Extensive Health Issues. Miss Ladd Was Born On March 8, 1981, In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Miss Ladd Was A Mental Health Counselor Specializing In Teen Counseling. She Graduated From University Of St. Joseph In West Hartford, Connecticut, With Honors. She Was A Part Of The Monterey Wesleyan Church Family In Monterey. She Is Survived By Her Mother, Joanne Choquette Of Monterey, TN; Father, Gordon Ladd Of Woodstock, VT; Brother And Sister-In-Law, Jason And Tammy Ladd Of St. Johnsbury, VT; Nephews, Hunter “Punter”, Connor And Jackson Ladd; Maternal Grandparents, Maurice And Cecila Choquette Of Morrisville, NY; Aunts, Jeannette Couture Of Hamilton, NY, Nancy Choquette Of Oneida, NY; Uncle, Walter (And Kathy) Ladd Of Turner, ME; Closest And Dearest Friend, Marilyn Finkelstein Of Portland, CT; And Her Loving Service Dog, Dixie. She Was Preceded In Death By Her Paternal Grandparents, Walter And Nellie Ladd; And An Uncle, Richard Choquette. Funeral Services For Terry Ray Hickman, Age 67, Of The Hanging Limb Community, Will Be Conducted On Friday, November 9, 2018, At 11:00 AM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Joe Hedgecough And Rev. Randall Hoover Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The George M. Phillips Cemetery With Full Military Honors Provided By The Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Hickman Was Born On October 22, 1951, In Elwood, Indiana, To The Late Ernest Ray And Marjorie Brown Hickman. Mr. Hickman Passed Away On Monday, November 5, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hickman Was A Factory Worker Working At Berkline In Livingston From 1991 Until The Plant Closed In 2006, And Then With Oreck In Cookeville Until His Retirement On October 22, 2018. He Was A Member Of The Calvary Freewill Baptist Church Where He Has Served As Deacon Since 1988. He Loved His Harley Davidson And Was A Member Of The Christian Motorcyclist Association Since April 19, 1983. He Enjoyed Restoring Older Automobiles And Received Many Awards For His Restorations. He Was A United States Army Veteran Serving During The Vietnam Era. He Is Survived By His Wife Of Over 48 Years, Linda Key Hickman Of The Hanging Limb; 2 Daughters And Sons-In-Law, Tonya And Robert Bilbrey Of Monterey, Jennifer And Jermaine Johnson Of Murfreesboro; 1 Granddaughter, Kristen Anderson (James Smith) Of Jamestown; 4 Step Grandchildren, Bobby (Sarah) Bilbrey, Briana Bilbrey, Nick Johnson And Malcolm Johnson; 3 Brothers And Sisters-In-Law, Tim And Timmi Hickman Of Indianapolis, IN, Mike And Gail Hickman Of Springfield, Marvin And Jane Hickman Of Jacksonville, FL. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Thursday, November 8, 2018, From 5:00 PM Until 8:00 PM. Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Bumbalough Maver, age 76 of Clarkrange, formerly of Sparta, will be conducted 12:00pm Friday, November 9, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00am until time for the service. Following the funeral, Mrs. Maver will be cremated under the care of Hunter Funeral Home. Mrs. Maver was born September 9, 1942 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Garfield & Daisy Phy Bumbalough. She was a retired Registered Nurse. She enjoyed the outdoors working with her flowers and mowing her yard. If she was not working in her yard then she was at a yard sale somewhere. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a son Stoney Teeples and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services for Mr. William Curtis Smith, age 36, of Allons will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Steven Barlow will officiate. Burial will be in the McDonald Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 4 until 9 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home Chapel. Curtis passed from this life on Monday morning, November 5, 2018 from the Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born in Overton County on December 20, 1981 to Todd & Ina Marie Melton Smith. Curtis was a 2001 graduate of Livingston Academy. His life was riding horses and roping. He enjoyed his dogs which were a pack of Australian Shepards. He loved to help his uncle Terry farming and working with his buddies.

Funeral services for Mr. James Charlie Nash, age 65 of Sparta, will be held at 4pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home with James Dukes officiating. Mr. Nash passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018. Born Thursday, April 30, 1953 in Sparta, he was the son of the late James Robert Nash and the late Pearl Lewis Nash. The surviving family members of Mr. Nash include the following: wife – In Ae Nash of Sparta; daughter – Peggy Reyes of McMinnville; daughter – Julie Kilcrease (Randy) of Texas; daughter – Lorie Nash of Texas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister – Eva Louise Wallace; brother – Ronnie Wayne Nash; sister – Linda Kay Nash; brother – Harold Thomas Nash. In addition to his parents, Mr Nash was preceded in death by three brothers, Randy Nash, David Nash and Danny Nash. The family will receive friends prior to the service 2pm until 4pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

A Memorial service for Paul Michael Ryan, age 38 of Sparta, will be held at Thurman Funeral Home on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 am. Paul passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loved ones, on Monday, October 22, 2018, after a long extended illness. Paul was born in Troy, Ohio to Glenn Ryan and Mary Kathleen Moore on November 20th, 1979. Paul is survived by his daughters Rylee A. Ryan and Madison A. Ryan; step-daughter, Ali Hollensworth; mother, Kathleen Moore; brother’s, Alan Ryan and Raymond Ryan; sister, Stephanie Winterfeld (Dan), Christina Perkins (Matthew), and Veronica Aguirre (Jamie); nieces, Sarah Ryan, Bethany Perkins, Raina Ryan and Miranda Ryan; nephews, Simeon Coppola, Dylan Winterfeld, Jacob Ryan and Victor Ryan. Special friends and family include Diana Gray (Moore), Charles Moore, numerous cousins, and their families. Family will receive friends at 10:00 am on November 10, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Thurman Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Emma Hutchison Mullins, age 64, of Livingston will be conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery. Mrs. Mullins passed from this life on Tuesday evening, November 6, 2018 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Overton County on July 5, 1954 to the late James & Ada Sells Hutchison. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mary loved having a garden, going to yard sales, and listening to country music. Her favorite passed time was with her grandchildren. She leaves her son, Eric Mullins & wife Kristi of Livingston; grandchildren, Kaleb Mullins, and Hailey Mullins; sisters, Mary Dean Winningham of Livingston, TN, & Joyce Shoemake of Indiana. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Shirley Hutchison, and John Ford; sisters, Nova Stover, and Dean Beason. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 2 until 8 p.m.

A memorial service for Mrs. Doris Elaine Brown, age 65 of Sparta, will be held at 4pm on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Black Oak Church of God with Richard Key officiating. Mrs. Brown, age 65 of Sparta, passed from this life on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Born Sunday, September 13, 1953 in Springfield. she was the daughter of the late Marice Suter and the late Emeley Dorris Suter. Mrs. Brown was a member of Black Oak Church of God for many years. She was a Sunday school teacher and a good friend to all. Mrs Brown’s surviving family members include the following: husband – Melvin Brown; sons – Brandon James and Brandon Dewayne of Sparta; sisters – Valerie Porter, Sandy Suter and Annette Suter; granddaughter – Kassidy Hubert; nephew – Joshua Porter of Cookeville; nieces – Emily Southwick of Cookeville and Mackenzie Suter of New York. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was proceeded in death by a brother, Thomas Suter. A period of visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 2pm until 4pm at the church.

Memorial services for Brittany Nicole Wiggins, 30, of Gainesboro, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. She had chosen cremation. She passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1988, in Cookeville, TN, to Carlen J. Wiggins, Jr. and Tammy Hunter Wiggins. She worked as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Carlen J. Wiggins, Sr. and Ina Wiggins; 2 Uncles: Robert Spurlock and George Spurlock; and her Step-Father: Jackie Allen. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Daneisha Highland and Ayla Wiggins, both of Gainesboro; her Parents: Carlen J. Wiggins, Jr. of Whitleyville, and Tammy Hunter Wiggins of Gainesboro; her Maternal Grandparents: Billy Hunter and Sammie Hunter of Gainesboro; 2 Brothers: Carlen J. Wiggins, III of Whitleyville, and Dakota Allen of Gainesboro; 2 Sisters: Victoria L. Wiggins of Whitleyville, and Kyra Shephard of Gainesboro; and Special Friend: Janie Marie Porterfield of Whitleyville. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services.
