Madeline Herron Victory, 80 of Buffalo Valley, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at the home of her sister in the Boma Community. She was born August 22, 1942 in Baxter to the late Silas Roy and Maggie Deweese Herron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Lynn Victory; son, Robert Allen Victory; sisters, Dorothy Brown, Carol Ensor, Mary Hall; brothers, Ross Herron and Johnny Herron. She was retired from Chrysler Corp. in Detroit with 18 years of service. She attended Lighthouse Church in Buffalo Valley until her health declined. Madeline enjoyed playing “catch phrases” with her sisters. Survivors include her husband of 62 years (Married October 29, 1950) Bob Victory of Buffalo Valley; sisters, Shirley (Darryl) Maddux of Buffalo Valley, Barbara (Bill) Haggard of Baxter, Janice Thomas of Knoxville; brothers, Lonnie (Jan) Herron of Gregory, MI, Hank Herron of Baxter; grandchildren: Barry (Jackie) Jalian of Tampa, FL, Zachary, Nikita and Shana Victory of Detroit, MI; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Her wishes of cremation are being honored and a memorial service is being planned. A private family burial will be at a later date at Rock Springs Cemetery in Buffalo Valley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ina G. “Trudy” Hunter age 82 of Livingston, will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2 PM from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hunter Cove Cemetery in Allons. She passed away on Monday afternoon, May 8, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Trudy Hunter was born in Livingston on July 21, 1940 to the late Esby Burgess and Georgie Lynn Burgess. Trudy was loved by her family, friends and community, she will be greatly missed. Survivors: Daughter: Cindy Hunter; 2 Granddaughters: Natasa Hunter and Courtney White; Grandson: Thomas White; Sister: Linnie Dilldine. A host of other Family, and Friends also survive. Preceded in death: In addition to her parents; Husband: Donald “Nuts” Hunter; Daughter: Penny White; Great Grandson: Asher Hunter; Sisters: Cornelly Burgess, Reva Reece, and Lucille Buck; Brothers: Edward Burgess and Paul Burgess. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10th from 6-9 PM at the funeral home. Bro. Richard Farley will be officiating.

Funeral services for Margarite Johnson Sullivan, 88 of Morrison Creek, Jackson County, will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. She was born April 2, 1935, in Jackson County, and she passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Celina Health and Rehab in Celina. She was the daughter of the late Virgil Johnson and Lucille Henson Johnson. She was a homemaker and mother, and a member of the Morrison Creek Church of Christ. She was a resident of the Morrison Creek community of Jackson County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Daughter: Diane Roberts; Grandson: Shawn Simms; Son in Law: Richard Sharp; as well as 1 Brother and 4 Sisters. Survivors include her Sons: Donny (Kay) Sullivan of Gainesboro, Randy (Lisa) Sullivan of Gainesboro, and Paul Sullivan of Nashville; Daughters: Valeri (David) Simms of Nashville, Wanda Sharp of Gainesboro, and Pachia (Richard) Sheridan of Gainesboro; Son-in-law: Jeff Roberts of Cookeville; Sisters: Eunice Bilbrey of Rickman, and Lois Young of Cookeville; Grandchildren: Greg Henley, Leanne Delaney, Amber Foutaine, Tony Sullivan, Devon Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Kathie Hollis, and Josh Johnson; 11 Great Grandchildren; and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services.

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Brenda Marie Mason, age 55 of Baxter, will be held Thursday May 11th at 6:00 p.m.in the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Seth Price will officiate. Brenda passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 5, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends whom she loved very much. She was born October 25, 1967 in Gulfport, Mississippi to the late William Rolen and Barbara Clark Rolen. She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Mason; step-son, Graham Mason; mother, Barbara Rolen; step-mother, Gail Rolen; one brother, Glenn Rolen; four sisters, her identical twin, Linda (Mike) Ishee, Kathy Rolen, Debbie (Glenn) Frank and Vicki Price; nephews, Brandon Price and Eric (Vanessa) Ishee; nieces, Jennifer Price, Ashley Netherland, Jessica Price and Candace Ishee; and seven great nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Genieva Clark, Mary and Edward Martin Rolen; and nephews, Christopher Netherland and Justin Ishee. Brenda was a loving wife for many years sharing countless adventures including her favorite magical place, Disney World, and the love of camping with close friends. Brenda cherished and carried a close bond with all of her family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Funeral Services for Mr. Luther Gene Coffee, age 80, of Livingston will be conducted 10 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2023, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Neely will officiate. Burial to follow in the Coffee Cemetery. Mr. Coffee passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023, from his home in Livingston. He was born August 7, 1942, in Livingston to the late Herman Finley and Haley Belle Pryor Coffee. Luther was a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years, and a member of the Summer Shade Church of Christ. He was a people person who enjoyed helping others, having coffee with his friends, catching up on the local talk, and collecting and trading pocket knives and old coins. His greatest joy was his family. Luther leaves behind his daughter, Robin Perdue of Livingston; sons, Timothy Coffee and wife Diann of Livingston, Herman Kevin Coffee and wife Angela of Hilham, and Daryl Anthony Coffee of Livingston; grandchildren, Wendy Maddox, Cindy Hudson, Tonya Zimmermann, Jimmy Cote, Jacob and Josh Coffee, Isaac Hargis, Nathan Hargis, Elijah Tate, Ayden Coffee, and Brodey Coffee; great grandchildren, Ava Coffee, Tyson Coffee, Lily Hargis, Caleb Hargis, and Quaid Hargis; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carver Hugh Coffee and wife Wanda of McCloud, OK; sister, Rebecca Dale Padgett of Cookeville; special friend, Oleta Collins of Livingston; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ruby Ballinger; and son-in-law, Pat Moran. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice Bullion Ballinger; daughters Karen (Scott) Walls, Jennifer Moran, and Amy (Marlen) Weaver; grandchildren Tyler Walls, Danielle Walls, Julie (Scott) Proffitt, Emily (Daniel) James, Ben Weaver, Elizabeth Weaver, Katie Weaver, Mallory Weaver; great granddaughter Amelia Proffitt; brothers Dale (Kris) Ballinger and Glenn (Diane) Ballinger.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Nell Cooper Kupkowske, age 81, of the Pleasant Hill Community in Allons, will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Neely will officiate. Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Nell passed from this life on Tuesday morning, May 9, 2023, from the comforts of her home. She was born in Commonwealth of Virginia on August 15, 1941, to the late Charlie and Pauline Garrett Cooper. Nell worked for many years for the Chrysler Corporation. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking, and country music. Her greatest joy was her family whom she loved dearly. Nell leaves behind her husband, Lawrence Kupkowske of Allons; sons, Donnie Ruble and wife Cathy of Michigan, and Kevin Ruble of Allons; daughter, Pamela Jean Pugliese and husband Marty of Michigan; grandchildren, Rachel, Heather, Jake, Michael, Stanley, Brandon, Austyn, Sandy, Teresa, and Michelle; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Hoover of Allons. In addition to her parents, Nell was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Jimmy Cooper; and sister, Wilma Wooten. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering for Richard Shawn Rogers, 66, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Shawn passed from this life, Monday, April 24, 2023. Shawn was born on January 17th, 1957 to Eugene and Mary Jo Rogers in Cookeville, the place he called home for most of his 66 years of life. He married the absolute love of his life, Ann. Together they had two children, Cameron Shawn Rogers and Ashton Rogers Hitchcock. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ann Connell Rogers; his children, Cameron (Erin Hunter) Rogers and Ashton (Ammon) Hitchcock; his mother and brother, Mary Jo and Mark Rogers; his nephews, Shad (Diane) Shearer, Shay (Courtney) Shearer, and Justin Richardson; and his grandson, Rex Rogers Hitchcock. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Rogers; his sister, Jenny Rogers Marshall; and his niece, Mary Mac Darnell.

Funeral services for Marilyn Lee Sullivan, age 65, of Cookeville, will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:00AM at Shipley United Methodist Church on Shipley Road. Burial will follow in Shipley Cemetery. Marilyn Lee Sullivan, 65 of Cookeville, TN went home to be with the Lord on the 9th day of May 2023. Marilyn was born on Tuesday, May 14, 1957, in Sparta, Tennessee to the late James Howard and Barbara Judd. Marilyn had a lifetime career in nursing, starting at 16 years old working alongside her granny at the Sparta Nursing Home. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 28 years: Larry Sullivan whom he had the privilege of marrying on March 19, 1955. Two Sons and daughters-in-law: Ryan (Angie) England, Samuel (Autumn) England, one daughter: Natisha England; Two Stepchildren: Jon Sullivan, Heather Butler both of Florida, 1 Special Step Nephew: Ryan (Sabrina) Sullivan, and many step nieces and nephews. She adored all 12 of her grandchildren: Nathaniel England, Abby Pollitt, Grace & Vanessa Bolanos, McKayla England, Israel, Lillie, Rosie, Milo Jo, Jonah England and Malachi and Marvella Christmas. Marilyn is also survived by Larry’s mother Sarah Arp, Special Uncle: Bob (Pam) Quintana, and brothers: Kevin (Keri)Sullivan, Richard (Heidi)Sullivan, and James Sullivan. She is also preceded in death by her parents James Howard and Barbara (Billy)Judd, and her brother-in-law: Victor Sullivan. Visitation with the family will be held Friday, May 12 from 5-8 PM at Whitson Funeral Home & Sat. 10-11AM at Shipley United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the following: The Cancer Society, Shipley Church, Shipley Cemetery Mowing Fund, Putnam County Animal Shelter, or the Gardeners Association.

A celebration of life for Brantley L. Painter, 36 of Gainesboro, will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. He was born September 11, 1986, in Alton, IL, and he passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at his residence in Gainesboro. He was the son of Brantley Painter and the late Rachelle Johnson. He was a tattoo artist. Survivors include his Sons: Tyler Price and Braden Painter; Daughter: Alyssa Sidener; brothers: Caleb Springer, Jack Springer, Nathan Johnson, Alan Shoemaker, and Justin Price; Sister: Marissa Price; Father, Brantley Painter, Sr.; Girlfriend: Jamie Adcock; Pet: Biggie; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and lots of friends. The family has chosen cremation. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 P.M. until time of services.

Funeral services for Hazel Billingsley, age 92 of Cookeville, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday May 13 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Dow Allen will officiate. Interment will follow at J.J. White Cemetery. Mrs. Billingsley passed away Wednesday May 10 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Her family will receive friends Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. and again Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Graveside services for Bonnie Jean Rivera, age 76 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville. Inurnment will follow at the cemetery. She passed from this life Saturday, April 29, 2023, Born Sunday, May 26, 1946 in Compton, California , she was the daughter of the late Robert Lazalier and the late Jean Bartlett Sisler. Bonnie is survived by: 3 children: Renee Claborn Bennett and husband, Chip, Darrin Rich and wife, Jennifer; 2 step children, Trent and Rebekah) Jesse Rich and wife, Pam; 2 grandchildren, Ellen Rich and Taylor Claborn; 1 sister: Caroline Humphrey; 1 sister in law, Melody Lazalier; And several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Kaleen Emlee Fahrner, 72 of Cookeville, will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Presley Funeral Home with the Eddy Turner officiating. She died on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born Monday, June 5, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William Ervin LeMere and the late Catherine Bowden LeMere. She was the wife of Ronald Fahrner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Presley Funeral Home.
