Obituaries For Monday, July 8

Kimberly Ann (McCallum) Juarez, 44 of Cookeville, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at her home surrounded by family. Kimberly was born Monday, March 24, 1975 in Murfreesboro and she was the daughter of Ronnie McCallum and the late Patricia Romans Turley. Kimberly was a loving daughter, wife, and mother. She was a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Kimberly is survived by: Husband: Adrian Juarez; Daughter: Christina Goolsby. In addition to her mother, Kimberly was preceded in death by: Son, Austin Goolsby; Aunt, Debbie Romans; Uncle, Bill Romans. Kimberly chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Funeral services for Dorothy Louise Roberts Wilson, age 80 of Sparta, will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the East Sparta Church of God with Bishops Donald Goodrum, Howard Thomason, and Charles Dodson officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday from 5pm until 8pm. She passed away Friday night ,July 5, 2019 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital. She was born February 20, 1939 in White Co.,TN to the late James Clyde and Lillie Mae Goodson Roberts.

Funeral Services for Vice Mayor William “Bill” Lansden Winningham, age 84, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from the First Christian Church of Livingston. Rev. James Shenko will officiate. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Annex with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m., then on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the First Christian Church of Livingston. Vice Mayor Winningham passed from this life on Friday evening, July 5, 2019 from the Livingston Regional Hospital. Born in Overton County, Tennessee on June 10, 1935 to the late Gradis Feldman & Sidney Bilbrey Winningham. Bill was a 1953 graduate of Livingston Academy. He then went on to graduate “Ole Miss” in 1956 with a Pharmaceutical Degree. While at “Ole Miss” he found the love of his life, Ms. Barbara Lynn Bugg on a blind date in Memphis. They were married in 1956 and spent the next 58 years together. After graduation at “Ole Miss”, Bill and his father started Winningham Drugs in 1957. He served 19 years in the National Guard. Bill worked as a Pharmacist up till his death. He was involved in many organizations during his life. He was a charter member of the Hidden Valley Golf & Country Club. Bill served on many boards during his career some of his favorites were the Livingston Regional Hospital, First National Bank, and the Livingston Housing Authority. He was a active member of the Livingston Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. Bills greatest joy was serving the City of Livingston and it’s people for over 40 years as Alderman and Vice Mayor.

Visitation for Mrs. Janie C. Ames age 65 of Rickman formally of Southfield, Michigan, will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 4 PM to 9 PM in the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Officiating will be Bro. Jimmy-John Hall. The family has chosen cremation. She passed away at her residence on Friday, July 5, 2019. Mrs. Janie C. Ames was born on September 7, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Roy and Wilma Hall.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ann Gentry, 76, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 6 P.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, TN. Burial will be on Friday at 2 P.M. in the Long Branch Cemetery in the Roaring River community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019, at her residence. She was born October 20, 1942, in Mayfield, KY, to the late Ernest Roscoe Goodwin and Martha Jerline Goodwin. On December 19, 1959, she was married to James Gentry, who survives. She was a registered nurse, and a member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ.
