Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete For Mr. Dan Price, Age 67, Of Monterey, Tennessee. Mr. Price Passed Away On Friday, October 16, 2020, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Samuel Buckner, Age 58, Of Spring Hill, Formerly Of Monterey, Passed Away On Thursday, October 15, 2020, At The Williamson Medical Center In Franklin, Tennessee. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mr. Jose Lopez, 61 of Cookeville died Thursday morning October 15, 2020 at 7 am at his home. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral service for James E Moss, age 90 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Mike Dyer officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Algood City Cemetery. Mr. Moss passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at NHC of Cookeville. Mr. Moss is described as a “sweet soul” who found contentment in simplicity. He cherished cards sent from friends and kept notes of gratitude in response. He will be remembered for his kind nature and his keen ability to prioritize the most important things in life. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Wayne Hall age 61 of Cookeville, will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Jackson County. Mr. Michael Wayne Hall was born in Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan on Sunday, February 8, 1959 to the late Marshal Wayne and Donna (Davison) Hall. He was a member of Allons Church of Christ. Michael loved his family very much especially all his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. His family and friends will miss him very much. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, Oct. 16th starting at 6 PM until 9 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Buddy Johnson.

A celebration of life service for Joyce Ann Stoltz, age 29 of Nashville, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday October 17 at Brotherton Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Jason Groe will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 p.m. until service time at the church. Joyce passed away suddenly Monday October 12, 2020.

Funeral services for Harold Eugene Harp, 74 of Cookeville will be held Sunday, October 18, 2020 beginning at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Lane officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He passed from this life Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. He was born Thursday, June 13, 1946 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He is the son of the late Burch and Leona (Blaylock) Harp. Harold is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Harp and 6 Daughters Tammy, Donna, and, Melissa Harp, Karen Spurlock, Donnita Pearson, and Veronica Johnson. The family will receive friends at the Presley Funeral Home Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Memorial services for John William Bennis, 74 of Sparta, will be held Sunday, October 18 at 3pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. He passed from this life on Friday, October 2, 2020, at home in Sparta. John enjoyed tinkering with cars, he was the owner of John’s Garage and Wrecker Service in Bloomington Springs. He liked to “glamcamp” (glamorous camping) with all the amenities of home, but at the lake. Jet skiing was also an event he liked doing while at the lake. He was an avid Amazon shopper. John loved his family, especially his grandson, who called him PopPop. Surviving are daughter, Jennifer Bennis of Cookeville and son Jonathan Bennis of Cookeville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Funeral Services for Talmadge Reed Brown, age 90 of Sparta, will be 11:00am on Monday 19 Oct Oct 2020 at Community Freewill Baptist Church on Camp Heights Square in Sparta with burial in Alex Byers Cemetery in Cookeville. Bro Rudy Dakes and Lester England will officiate. Mr. Brown passed away on Oct 14th, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Brown retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio in 1979 and moved back to Ternnessee. He was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Evelyn Perkins of Kentucky, Lillian Presley of Cookeville, James Brown Sr., Tim Brown Sr., Pete (Doris) Brown, Ruby (Eddie) Brown and Ronnie (Judy) Brown all of Sparta. There are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00 to 9:00 pm on Sunday 18 Oct 2020, at Community Freewill Baptist Church.

Graveside services for Ronnie Skipper, 73, of the Bullards Creek Community of Jackson County, will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 1 P.M. at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. He passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020, at his residence. He worked as a credit manager in Nashville for many years, and was a founding member of the Tennessee Longhunters (muzzle loading gun club). Ronnie graduated from East Nashville High School and Magna Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University. He also served in the U.S. Navy as an avionics mechanic and aircrewmen. He had a deep love for Jackson County and for his family. He is surved by his son, Zach Skipper of Birmingham, AL; and his daughter, Lindsay Rowlett of Manchester. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. – 12:45 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorial services for Randy Stafford, 55, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, at 6 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation, with interment in the Campground Cemetery. He passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1964, in Jackson County, TN, to Lyndell Katherine Richardson Stafford and the late Billy Edward Stafford. He worked as a machine operator. Survivors include 1 Son: Joshua Randall Stafford of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Lindsay Young of Gainesboro, TN, and Sarah (Jason Hines) Stafford of Bloomington Springs. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 30, 2020, from 1 P.M. until time of services. Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that visitors please wear facemasks.
