Funeral services for Doris Ann Daulton, 76 of Sparta, will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Thurman Funeral Home. Internment at Stone Seminary Cemetery. Ms. Daulton died Monday, November 12, 2018 at NHC of Sparta. Born July 26, 1942, in Pleasant Hill, TN, she was a daughter of the late Aubrey C. Randolph and the late Hattie Jo Wilson Randolph. Doris worked at Potter Children Orphan Home and School for 40 years in Bowling Green, KY and the she was also a Foster Mother to many children for 15 years. She dedicated her life to serving God and doing his work faithfully everyday of her life, She was the President of NAMI (National Alliance of the Mentally Ill) Bowling Green, KY Chapter. Family will accept visitors on Friday November 16, 2018 in the chapel of Thurman Funeral home from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Funeral services for Mark Keith Wilmoth, age 60, of Rickman will be held Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Pastors Bill Haney and Larry Keith officiating. Interment will follow in West Cemetery in the Fairview Community. Mark Keith Wilmoth passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home in Livingston. He was born Saturday, January 11, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to Jo Ellen Warren and the late Kenneth Wilmoth. Mark worked in construction for over forty years installing windows, siding and general carpentry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: his wife Sandra Wilmoth; daughter, Tonya Kelly; sister, Cynthia Dwyer; niece, Amy Miller. He is survived by: his mother, Jo Ellen Williams, of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Jaclyn (Tony) McCloud of Cookeville, Racquel (Josh) Eich of Cookeville, and Mariah Wilmoth of Rickman; six grandchildren, Dylan Penley, Amara Penley, Marcus Penley, Haven Hix, Parker Williams, and Bo Daniel Eich; three sisters, Linda (Dan) Lawson of Texas, Debra Lawrence of Indiana, and Lori Ree of Arkansas; six brothers, Jim Allen of Arizona, Michael Allen of Washington, D.C., Timothy (Nancy) Wilmoth, Terry Allen of Dayton, Ohio, James (JoAnn) Haney, and Edward Haney; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 16, 2018, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM and Saturday, November 17, 2018, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Presley Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sandy Kay Taylor Hancock, age 57, of Smyrna and formerly of Overton County will be conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Hillier Duke will officiate. Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home. Mrs. Sandy passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday morning November 12, 2018. She was born February 10, 1961 in Overton County to Wayne & Brenda Jolley Taylor. She was a member of the Hatcher Hall Christian Church, and a 1979 graduate of Livingston Academy. She married the love of her life in 1988 Mr. Kenny Hancock. Sandy loved to laugh and she enjoyed life. She loved her family and her dogs Aspen & Max. Sandy loved Kenny and Brandi and going to the lake. Sandy was a LPN and loved to help people. She leaves her loving husband, Kenny Hancock of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Brandi Boles Underhill & husband Rick of Kansas City, MO; parents, Wayne & Brenda Taylor of Monroe, TN; brother, David Taylor & wife Sherry of Monroe, TN; and niece, Emily Taylor. Pallbearers to serve are John Binhlam, Joe Jolley, Troy Jolley, Jason Stover, James Robbins, Jeff Garrison. Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Gerldean Brown Sisco, age 84, of Fayetteville, GA, and formerly of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m Saturday November 17 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Gerald Padgett will officiate. Interment will follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Sisco passed away peacefully at home Monday morning November 12, 2018 in Fayetteville, GA. She was born December 22, 1933 in Overton County to the late Enoch and Mary Alice Phillips Brown. Husband of 57 years, Carlen Sisco, and sisters Noble Yalanzon and Juanita McCrobie preceded her in death. Mrs. Sisco was a member of Monterey First Baptist Church. She and her family lived in Kettering, OH for over 30 years where she was a member of Kettering First Baptist Church. She had retired from Standard Register in Dayton, OH. Mrs. Sisco is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Larry & Lisa Sisco of Fayetteville, GA; sister, Rita (Jack) Parker of Indiana; five grandchildren, Cassie (Jack) Wheatley, Cody, Devin, Sean, and Victoria Sisco; and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Hope, and Colton Wheatley. Funeral services for Delmer Lee “Dale” Allen, 71, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. He passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1947, in Jackson County, to the late Cecil Allen, Sr. and Clora Pippin Allen. He worked as a mower operator for the Jackson County Highway Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Cecil Allen, Jr., James Alton Allen, Joe Earl Allen, and Charles Paul “Niff” Allen; and 3 Sisters: Eva Jane Hearld, Georgia Madelle Allen, and Gladys Irene Taylor. Survivors include 1 Brother: Elmer (Debbie) Allen of Gainesboro; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Christine Allen of Cookeville. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services.

A funeral service for William “Bill” Horton, 76 of Doyle, will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2 o’clock p.m. with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Doyle where he will be laid to rest beside his parents and siblings. Bill was born on May 27, 1942 at the Horton family homeplace in Doyle to James and Mary Lou Horton. A lifelong resident of Doyle, he graduated from White County High School and served in the National Guard and later as an alderman for the city of Doyle. He married Diane Smith in 1975, and they raised three sons: Devin, Darin and Dennis. Bill passed away on November 14, 2018 at his home in the arms of his loving wife after a thirteen-year battle with cancer. Bill had numerous passions and worked with heavy equipment, truck driving, and cattle and farming. He was an avid fan of Tennessee football, Braves baseball, Predators hockey, stock car racing and Pizza Hut on Tuesdays with honorable mention to KFC. He was also a gospel music lover and was often heard singing in and out of the shower. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Daniel and Bobby, and sister Louise and husband Billy Seamons. He is survived by his wife and sons, daughter in law Kayce, brother John and wife Susie and sister Betty and husband Lonnie Slatton, grandchildren Jake, Jessa and Jonas, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will beging at 11:00am at Hunter Funeral Home in Sparta.

Funeral services for Tony Curtis Head, age 59, of Buffalo Valley, will be held Sunday, November 18th, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Houston Jared officiating. Interment will follow in John L. Clark. Tony Curtis Head passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. Tony Curtis Head was born Saturday, May 9, 1959 in Gainesboro to Frances Moline Perrin Head and the late Curtis James Head. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: grandparents, Elbert and Rosie Perrin, and Quarles and Mae Head. He is survived by: his wife, Margaret “Tinker” Head; mother, Frances Moline Perrrin Head of the Shiloh Community in Jackson County; children, Beth White of Cookeville, Brian Smith of Hickman Community of Smith County and Rachel Smith of Cookeville; grandchildren, Bryson Smith and Ella Sanders; brother, Randy (Lori) Head of the Shiloh Community in Jackson County; nieces, Ashley Lynch and Mandy Cumby; nephew, Travis Head; several aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2018, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Sunday, November 18, 2018, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home.

Funeral services will for Mr. Roger Earl Henry, age 59 of Sparta, be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, November 18, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Lower Board Valley Cemetery. Roger passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Roger was born February 26, 1959 in Sparta to the late Junior & Wilma Earlene Vinson Henry. He was a self-employed handyman. Many would consider a Jack of All Trades. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son Matthew Henry. Surviving family includes his daughter Brandy Martin of Sparta. Son Michael Henry of Sparta. Grandchildren: Dakota Marshall, Dalton Marshall, Caden Henry, Daxton Henry, Danielle Henry and Zach Henry. Great-grandchild: Matthew Flynn. Sisters: Shirley Kirby and husband Michael of Cookeville, Vickie Lawson of O’Fallon, MO, Amy Massa of Cookeville. The family will receive friends Sunday from noon until service time at Hunter Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Dibrell “Dib” Anderson, age 90 of Cookeville will be held Sunday November 18 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with interment to follow in Smyrna Cemetery. He died Thursday November 15, 2018 at his home. Dib’s family will receive friends Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Celebration of Life services for Willie Creed McCormick, 89 of Cookeville, will be held at 4pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Sparta with Brad Walker officiating. Willie passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Born Sunday, February 10, 1929 in Spencer, he was the son of the late James and Lydia Dodson McCormick. He was the husband of Edna Luna McCormick. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sparta for many years. He loved to fish and enjoyed being a Husband, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather to his family. Survivors include: Wife- Edna McCormick of Cookeville; Son- Allan McCormick (Becky) of Davidsonville, MD; Daughter-Tracy Burnette(Tim) of Lenoir City; Grandchildren- Brad and Brian McCormick; Tyler and Tanner Burnette; Great-Grandchildren- Madison, Gabriella, Charlotte, William, Foster McCormick. Haisley Grace and Mabry Kate Burnette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry McCormick. The family will receive friends from 3pm until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Sparta, 308 North Spring Street, Sparta, TN 38583.

Funeral Services for Leslie Arnold Cole, age 84 of Cookeville, will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Deloach officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Cole passed from this life Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Life Care Center of Sparta. He was born Friday, February 16, 1934, in Sparta. He was the son of the late Cecil and Maude (Stoglin) Cole. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ. He loved work, building homes and fishing. He retired from Fleetguard and every one that worked with him lovingly knew him as (Moose). He is survived by his loving Wife of 63 years: Mary Ruby (Henley) Cole of Cookeville; 1 Daughter and Son-in-law: Patsy and Donnie Williams of Cookeville; 2 Sons: Darrell and Ronda Cole of Monterey, Cameron Scott and Nancy Cole of Cape Coral, FL; 2 Grandchildren: Hannah Holeman, Christian Cole; 2 Sisters: Ruth Baker, Betty Jo Davis; 1 Brother: Cordell Cole. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: 1 Son: Gregory Kent Cole, and numerous brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00pm until 5:00 pm and again Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.
