Mr. Ronnie Gene Allen, Sr.. age 68 of Baxter, passed away Wednesday, April 29th. Arrangements for Mr. Allen are incomplete.

Graveside Funeral Services For Rev. John Thomas “Tommy” Clark, Age 71, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted At Sand Springs Memorial Gardens. Pastor Steve Looper Will Officiate With Full Military Honors Provided By The Veterans Honor Guard. Rev. Clark Was Born On November 19, 1948, In Monterey, Tennessee, To The Late Lee And Johnnie Mae Langford Clark. Rev. Clark Passed Away On Thursday, April 30, 2020, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Rev. Clark Worked In The Tool And Die Industry As A Tool Maker For Many Years. He Pastored For Over 31 Years In The Upper Cumberland Region. He Was A Decorated United States Army Veteran Seeing Action In Vietnam. He Is Survived By His Wife Of 51 Years, Nell McCloud Clark Of Monterey, TN; 1 Daughter, Amanda (Holly) Pagel Of Vacaville, CA; 1 Son, Greg (Missy) Clark Of Monterey, TN; Grandson, Jonathan (Amanda) Clark Of Cookeville, TN; Granddaughter, Ashley Clark (Devon Stults) Of Sparta, TN; 4 Great Grandchildren, Johnny, Andrew, Kimmie And Chris; 4 Sisters-In-Law, Gail (Mouse) Williams, Debbie (Ricky) Norrod, Brenda Melton, Tammy (Reggie) Moody; A Host Of Nieces, Nephews, And Friends; And Special Friends, Dr. Gray And Linda Smith. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Sister, Delores Swafford; Brother, Jimmy Clark; And Father And Mother-In-Law, Dewayne And Eula Ray McCloud.

Private Family Services for Mr. Thomas Frederick Jolley, age 52, of the Highland Mountain Community will be held at a later date. Tom passed from this life on Thursday morning, April 30, 2020 from his home. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 5, 1967 to Janie Marie Davis Jolley and the late Gary Frederick Jolley. Tom was a member of the Livingston First Baptist Church, and a 1985 graduate of Livingston Academy. He married his high school sweetheart that same year Ms. Jean Carter and enlisted in the Army, serving his country till 1988. Tom was a foreman for Twin Lakes Telephone for 30 years retiring in 2019. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and being outdoors. Tom leaves behind his loving wife, Mrs. Jean Carter Jolley of the Highland Mountain Community; daughter, Betsy Jolley of Livingston, TN; grandson, Garrett Frederick Jolley, of Celina, TN; sister, Merijane Coleman of Sevierville, TN; mother, Janie Davis Jolley of Livingston, TN; and daughter-in-law, Marisa Jolley of Celina.

Angela Renee Secord, 50, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 in Cookeville. Mrs. Secord was born on November 05, 1969 in Sparta to the late Richard Elmore and Deborah Ann Brown Pitman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Secord was preceded in death by; Step-Daughter- Jennifer Secord, Grandfather- S.D. Brown and Uncle- Rodger Brown. Surviving Family include: Husband- Gregory Buck of Cookeville; Son- Timothy Secord (Cierra) of Cookeville; Sister- Amy Herron (Coy) of Rickman; Grandmother- Willie Brown of Sparta; Nephews- Jacob Herron and Dorian Lawson; Niece- Emma Herron; Loving Aunts- Rhonda Hawkins, Vicky Cole and Janise Prater. Uncles- Steve Brown and Jim Brown. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a Celebration of Life for Mrs. Secord at a later date.

Private Graveside services for Mr. Charles Glenn Webb age 80 of Livingston, will be held for the family on Saturday at the Netherland Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Bro. Kerry Duke. He passed away at the Overton County Health and Rehab Facility Thursday morning, April 30, 2020. Mr. Charles Glenn Webb was born in the Windle Community of Overton Co. on February 8, 1940 to the late Charlie and Vallie (Burroughs) Webb. He was married to the late Sarah Buck Webb for 35 years. He was a member of the West End Church of Christ. He was the chairman of TN Auctioneers Commission for two consecutive terms, making Tennessee history. He was the founder / owner/ operator of the Webb Real Estate and Auction company for many years. Survivors:2 Daughters: Dr. Rhonda Lynn Gereighty of Johnson City, Susan Leigh Ashburn and her husband Neil of Livingston; 2 Granddaughters: Brittany Gereighty of Cookeville, Sarah Grace Ashburn of Cookeville; 1 Great Grandson: Oliver Clough of Johnson City; 3 Brothers: John Webb, Carl Webb, Jerry Webb; 4 Sisters: Dean Buford, Anna Houser, Janie Glasscock, Billie Webb. Preceded in death: In addition to his parents; 4 Sisters: Charlene Webb, Joyce Anderson, Wanda Crabtree, Jo Poston.

Graveside service and interment for Margie Rosetta “MRS. MICK” Anderson, 88 of Baxter, will be Saturday, May 2 at 1 PM at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Bro. Tim Sharp will officiate. Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Mabry Health Care & Rehab in Gainesboro. She was born January 14, 1932 in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana to the late Verold and Hazel Etta Adams Lackey. In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Harold Richard “RICH” Anderson on April 25, 2019, a son Larry Richard Anderson, a daughter Nancy Elizabeth Anderson Johnson, sisters Nellie Gabbart, Maxine Whiteaker, Barbara McClain, brother Bobbie John Lackey. She was a member of Boma First of God. At church she served in the nursery for over 30 years and 19 years in the card ministry, sending out over 100,000 cards. She was retired seamstress with Cookeville Pants Factory with 24 years of service. Survivors include grandsons: Toby and wife Susan Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, Andy Johnson of Knoxville, great-grandchildren: Caleb, Austin, Emilie, Georgia, Joshua, Anna and Tucker Johnson, a host of nieces and nephews, her church family, special friends, Tony and Jeanie Lee. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, family will gather at the cemetery.

Graveside services and interment for the family of Mrs. Violet Irene Kuist, age 84 of Crawford, will be held Sunday, May 3rd at Honey Springs Cemetery. Pastor Dan Graham will officiate. Mrs. Kuist passed away, Monday April 27, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 17, 1936 in Ooltewah to the late Wilbur and Marguerite Smith Cross. She was a graduate of Southern Adventist University in 1958 (formerly known as Southern Missionary College) earning a bachelors degree in music. Throughout her life, she used her musical gifts to teach, ministering to students and others, while also playing for weddings, graduations, church services and other special occasions. Irene was a gifted, supportive homemaker and loyal caregiver to her parents and extended family. Whenever she had the opportunity, she enjoyed spending time in nature and loved its creatures. Irene had a strong work ethic, ‘no grass grew under her feet’ as her father in law admiringly observed. She was a gifted and supportive homemaker and loyal caregiver to her parents and extended family. She enjoyed spending time in nature and the pleasures granted by country living. She has partnered with her husband in ministry while living throughout the United States, and also while living in Singapore and Canada. She has been an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cookeville since moving to the area in 2014. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bruce Kuist; son, Wil (Kimberly) Kuist of Hixson; daughters, Katherine Kuist of Crawford and Gerd Peters of Hendersonville; brothers, Hoyett Cross of Madison, and Norman Cross of New Mexico; and by grandchildren, Alyssa Kuist, Cameron Kuist and Danielle Kuist. Graveside services for Mrs. Kathleen Grundhoefer Chilton, age 77, of Allons will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2020 from the Richardson Cemetery. Rev. James Shenko will officiate. The family will welcome friends at the cemetery. Mrs. Kathleen Chilton passed from this life on Tuesday morning, April 28, 2020 from the McKendree Village Healthcare Center in Hermitage, Tennessee. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 12, 1943 to the late Joseph A. & Mildred Mary Michlek Zelinka. Kathleen was a faithful member of the First Christian Church in Livingston. She enjoyed watching musicals, knitting items for family and friends and collecting Disney figurines. Kathleen loved her family and extended family and enjoyed many outings with the First Christian Church Roadrunners. Kathleen leaves behind her daughter, Raeann Kwasek & husband Michael of Chicago, IL, two sons, Dean Grundhoefer & wife Grace of Chicago, IL, and Daniel Grundhoefer of Colorado; four grandchildren, Jordan Grundhoefer, Nick Grundhoefer, Danielle Grundhoefer, Elizabeth Matnei and husband Devan, one great grandchild, Mason Grundhoefer, four stepdaughters, Kimberly Swafford & husband Doug of Chattanooga, TN, Pamela Frye & husband Jeff of Phoenix, AZ, Jodi Wright & husband Bobby of Nashville, TN, and Rhonda Badger & husband Clay of Kingston, TN; one sister Bettyann Kapelkea and two brothers, Michael Zelinka and Robert Zelinka, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
