Deborah Ann Lenoci, 61 of Sparta, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta. She was born Friday, April 19, 1957 in Galveston, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ramee and the late Elizabeth Elliott. She was the wife of Vinnie Lenoci. The family has chosen cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Jennie “Rhea” Measles Davis, age 79 of Quebeck, will be at 10:00 am Saturday Morning, March 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Skurlock Cemetery. She passed away Thursday Morning, March 28, 2019 at the St. Thomas Highlands Hospital. She was born October 16, 1939 in Van Buren County, TN to the late Alfred C. and Pearl Maynard Measles. She was a member of the Hickory Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by her Husband: Earl Wayne Davis of Quebeck; Daughter & Son-in-law: Sharon and Mike Hale of Quebeck; Grandchildren: Michael & wife Paulina Hale, and Anna’ Nicole Hale; Great-Grandchild: Aston Davis Hale; 2 Sisters: Willie Ruth Martin of Spencer, Alma Jean Sparkman of Spencer; along with several nieces, nephews, friends, and other close relatives. A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Gary Levon Seibers, age 67 of Quebeck, will be held from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Quebeck Community Center. Gary passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at NHC in Sparta. He was born November 5, 1951 in Sparta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee and Mable Bernice Hutson Seibers; sisters, Etta Ruth Seibers Dailey and Linda Frank Seibers Smart. He is survived by: Sons- Gary Levon Seibers Jr. (Bobbie) of Sparta, Steven Seibers of Sparta, Jamie Seibers of Sparta; Several granchildren also survive; Brothers- Harold Seibers of Quebeck, Carl Seibers of Sparta, Jerry Seibers (Betty) of Walling, Dwight Seibers (Helen) of Quebeck, Troy Seibers of Quebeck; Sisters- Joyce Matheney of Sparta, Anna Seibers of Livingston, Rhonda Seibers of Quebeck. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Charles Ronald Haney, 70, of Gainesboro, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. He passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1948, in Jackson County, to the late Troy B. Haney and Lina Mayberry Haney. He worked in furniture upholstery, and attended the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Ronnie B. Haney; 2 Brothers: K.B. Haney and Troy B. Haney, Jr.; 1 Step Son: David Dishman; and 2 Sisters: Vena B. Cantrell and Cora Loftis. Survivors include his Life Partner and Friend: Sherry Dishman of Gainesboro; 3 Grandchildren: Derick Haney, Dustin Haney, and Rochelle Haney; 2 Step Children: Larry and Emily Dishman; 3 Step Grandchildren: Dylan, Drake, and David; 6 Step Great Grandchildren; and 3 Sisters: Marie Johnson and M.B. Brian passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Brian was born September 30, 1981 in Crossville. He enjoyed working on cars and racing cars. He was a former member of the Sparta-White County Rescue Squad and automobile enthusiast attending Rod Run every year with his family. He is preceded in death by his Father Billy Clifton Vaughn Sr., Brother, Billy Clifton Vaughn Jr., Sister N Law Jennifer Vaughn and grandparents Charlie and Evelyn Watson & Claude and Delia Vaughn, Aunt Vonda Disney, Several friends Dewey Presley, Bronson McBride, Ritchie Summers, Todd Spivey, Tom Good, Greg Hutchings, Paul Ryan. The family of Mary Elizabeth Key, age 74, of Cookeville will receive friends, Saturday, March 30, 2019, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Judd Cemetery at a later date. Mrs. Key passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County in Cookeville. She was born Wednesday, March 28, 1945 in Cookeville to the late Theodore Scarlett and Virginia Hickey Scarlett. Mary will long be remember for wanting to take care of everyone around her, (especially her grandkids), her flowers, and Hershey kisses. In addition to her parents, Mary Elizabeth Key was preceded in death by: brothers, George Scarlett, James Scarlett, and Roscoe Scarlett; sister, Martha Hawkins. She is survived by: daughter, Vickie (Carl) Whitehead of Bloomington Springs; son, Mike (Tracey) Franklin of Cookeville; five grandchildren, Rachel Whitehead, Dana Garrett, Daniel Whitehead, Joshua Anderson, and Morgan Franklin; eight great-grandchildren, Destiny Goss, Kelsey Garrett, Kiley Garrett, Brooklyn Goss, Paisley Whitehead, Daiden Whitehead, Hunter Goss, and Bailey Whitehead; brother, Johnny (Angie) Scarlett of Cookeville; sister, Barbara (Roger) Thomas of Cookeville; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services for Leroy Arlan Miller, 41, of Crossville, will be held Sunday March 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Mr. Moriah Mennonite Church, 830 Linder Loop, Crossville, with interment to follow in the Mt. Moriah Mennonite Church Cemetery. John Mast is officiating. He passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 after a long battle of many years of various health issues, including three years on dialysis. On January 1, 1977 his family moved from Kalona, IA to Mayland, and several months later he was born on April 29, 1977, to Alvin Lynn and Fannie Miller. He was named after his late paternal grandfather LeeRoy Miller. He was preceded in death by his father Alvin Lynn Miller. At two years of age, he could carry a tune and loved to sing ever since. He attended school at Mt. Moriah Mennonite School. He learned the trade of construction working with his father and brothers. When his health permitted, he was employed by the family business Comfort Zone Insulation. He enjoyed talking to folks and his kindness won many friends. He called some of them on the phone to help pass many hours sitting in dialysis. His commitment to serve the Lord in spite of many health challenges helped him to be courageous to the end. It was a joy to share God’s peace with others. Survivors include his mother, Fannie Miller; four brothers, Conrad Alan, Lynn Alvin, Edwin Anthony and Walter Alfred; three sisters, Caroline Grace, Leanna Beth and Luella Fannie; three nieces, Gracie Ann, Makenzie Tyara Levada and Alexia Rose; and a nephew, Casey, all of Crossville. His family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Bibles for impoverished countries to Mt. She passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019. She was born March 7, 1939 in Spencer to the late Joe Willy and Demie Martin Shockley. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Charles Ades Rice, daughter: Sarah Rice, Son: Tony Rice, and a grandson: Keaton Rice. She was retired from Mallory, a long time caregiver, and a member of the Ole Country Church.
