Rev. John Davis, 83 of Cookeville died Friday March 12 at 9:13 am in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral Services For Evelyn Phillips, Age 89, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Saturday, March 13, 2021, At 12:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Bowman Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The Welch Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips Was Born On September 1, 1931, In Muddy Pond, Tennessee, To The Late Sullivan And Ova Phillips England. Mrs. Phillips Passed Away On Thursday, March 11, 2021, At The Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Phillips Was Retired From Fleetguard And Had Also Worked With Ely & Walker. She Was A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, And Sister. She Was A Longtime Member Of Monterey First Baptist Church. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Saturday, March 13, 2021, From 11:00 AM Until Time Of Services At 12:00 PM.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Geneva Little Crabtree, age 101, of Monroe will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, March 13, 2021 from the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Steven Barlow will officiate. Mrs. Geneva passed from this life on Wednesday morning, March 10, 2021 from the comfort of her home. She was born in Monroe, Tennessee on October 13, 1919 to the late Huey and Nannie Fletcher Little. She was a member of the Monroe Christian Church and enjoyed being around her family, gardening, reading, traveling and going to church. Geneva leaves behind her son, Roger Crabtree and wife Linda of Commerce Township, MI; daughters, Betty Serr and husband Lou of Oxford, MI, Carol Simonetti and husband Tony of Auburn Hills, MI, and Diane Aldridge and husband Mike of Monroe. The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Memorial services for Myrtle Cook, 73 of Gainesboro, will be conducted at 1pm Saturday, March 13 at Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Lakelan Barham officiating. Mrs. Cook passed away on February 14 at NHC Health Care in Cookeville. She was born August 7, 1947 in Pleasant Shade, TN, to the late Curtis Kemp and Dorothy Hackett Kemp. She was married to the late Charles Cook, who passed away June 24, 1994. She was a housewife. Survivors include her children, Charles Oldham of Cookeville, Curtis Cook of Gainesboro, and Julie Montgomery of Louisville, KY.

A Celebration of Life for Mary Jane Hamlet, age 58 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday March 13 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Moore will officiate. Ms. Hamlet passed away suddenly Tuesday March 9. Jane was an exceptional athlete in her younger years. She excelled in softball and was a rowdy rooter when her kids played sports. She was also a fabulous cook, an exceptional crafter, and loved all animals, especially her two dachshunds. Jane is survived by her children, Kelsey Hamlet, Nick (Shelbey) Hamlet, and Aly Hamlet all of Cookeville; and parents, Johnnie and Barbara Burchett of Cookeville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until service time.

Funeral Services for Mary Stockton, age 80 of Cookeville, will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Bro. Frank Davis will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Mrs. Stockton passed away on March 8 in Putnam County. She is survived by her children, Dewayne (Phillis) Stockton, Roger (Toni) Stockton, Larry Stockton, Susanne (Danny) Western and Claudia (Lonny) Mather. The family will receive friends at the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00am until time of services at 2:00pm.

Durham Threadgill, Age 54, Of Madison, Alabama, And Formerly Of Cookeville, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Sunday, March 14, 2021, At 2:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Pastor Tim McLauchlin Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The Welch Memorial Cemetery With Full Military Honors Provided By The Veterans Honor Guard. Mrs. Threadgill Was Born On August 17, 1966, In Monterey, Tennessee, To The Late Lloyd Durham And Lillian Matthews. Mrs. Threadgill Passed Away On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Threadgill Was A Nurse’s Aide For 17 Years Working Most Of Her Career With Cookeville Hospital. She Was A United States Army Veteran Serving Two Tours Of Duty In Operation Iraqi Freedom. She Is Survived By Her Husband, Frederick Threadgill Of Madison, AL; 2 Daughters And A Son-In-Law, Molly Garrett Of Cookeville, TN, Rachel Cheyenne And Eddie Hodnett Of Cookeville, TN. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Sunday, March 14, 2021, From 12:00 PM Until Time Of Services At 2:00 PM.

A celebration of life service for Michael Edgar Allen, age 59 of Baxter, will be held Sunday, March 14 at 3:00 pm in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mr. Allen died Thursday March 11 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mike was a hard worker and worked in construction. He was friendly, outgoing and never met a stranger. He especially adored his grandchildren. Mike is survived by his wife of 38 years, Michelle Nabors Allen (whom he met in 1978 and married in 1981); daughter, Whitney (Andrew) Sparks of Cookeville; sons, Brandon (Danetta) Allen of Franklin, and Zach Allen of Cookeville. His family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Dorothy (Dot) Randolph, 80 of Sparta will be held at 3pm Sunday, March 14 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta with Bro. Clint Walker officiating. Burial to follow at Saylors Cemetery in White County. Mrs. Randolph departed this life on Friday, March 12, at home surrounded by her family. Before her retirement in 2001, Dot was employed at Cummins Filtration and after retirement she enjoyed canning vegetables raised in their garden. Nothing made her happier than cooking for her friends and family. She also looked forward to her two shopping trips to Hamricks each year. She was a member of Pistole Southern Baptist Church and was loved by her church family. Dorothy is survived by one sister, Mable Martin of Sparta; and two daughters, Penny Riddle and husband Bruce, Lisa Braddom and husband Dennis, all of Sparta. Visitation will be Sunday from 11-3 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta and the funeral at 3:00 PM.
