Lluuana Llane Dell’Aquila, Age 67, Of Cookeville, Passed Away On Thursday, February 25 At Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Arrangements Are Incomplete.
Betty Jean Donelson, age 84 of Sparta, passed away on Wednesday, February 24 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, J.C. Donelson; two children, James Jr (Darlene) Donelson and Karen (Tim) Young. According to her wishes, she has chosen direct cremation and no visitation services will be held.
Funeral services for Mr. Dishmon Hamblin, age 86 of Sparta, will be conducted 11:00am Saturday, February 27 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. Roy Powell and James Hamblin will officiate. Mr. Hamblin passed away at 8:30pm Tuesday, February 23 at Life Care Center of Sparta. He was retired from Jeld-Wen Hardwoods. Dishmon played the harmonica since he was a young man and was glad to play a song for anyone that he met. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Sparta. Survivors include his children, Darrell (Trina) Hamblin, Denise (Wayne) Bogle, and Tonya (Wade) YoungBlood. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Marilyn Sue Bumbalough Klein, age 78 of Sparta, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 27 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Tim Bumbalough officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Klein passed away on Wednesday, February 24 at her home. She was born Thursday, April 23, 1942 in Sparta, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Orlee and Hassie Eller Bumbalough. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William Merril (Bill) Klein; and their children, William Jackson (Jack) Klein, Sherry Lee Klein-Howard, and Barry Klein. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial services for Sherron Eddlemon, age 66 of Cookeville, will be 3 p.m. Saturday February 27 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Ryan Barnhart will officiate. Mrs. Eddlemon passed away February 25. Sherron was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Steve Eddlemon whom she married July 29, 1972; daughters, Kim (Ryan) Barnhart, son, Jeff (Heather) Eddlemon, and daughter Brittany (Brandon) Huddleston. Visitation for Mr. Dickie Neal age 61 of Allons, will be held Saturday evening, February 27, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home starting at 4 PM until 7 PM. The family has chosen cremation after the visitation with family and friends. Neal passed from this life on Thursday morning, February 25, 2021 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Mr. Dickie Neal was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on Wednesday, August 12, 1959 to the late Jess and Myrtle Human, Clyde and Marie Neal. Dickie made his living as a truck driver. He loved his family and friends very much and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include wife Tammy Neal of Allons, TN; 1 Step Daughter: Rebecca Arney of Livingston, TN; 2 Step Sons: Johnny Dewayne Arney II of Livingston, TN, Chris Jones of Gainesboro.

Pastor Mike Owens And Pastor Justin Owens Will Officiate. Mr. Harville Passed Away On Friday, February 19 At Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He Was A Longtime Employee Of FFM/Perdue. He Was A Member Of House Of Prayer Revival Center In Rickman. He Is Survived By His Wife Of 52 Years, Patricia Blaylock Harville Of Algood; Son And Daughter-In-Law, Keith And Susan Harville Of Cookeville. He assed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Cookeville, TN. Richard was born on May 20, 1956 in Cookeville, TN to the late Freddie and Minnie Golden. Richard loved to play music, write songs, and to perform his songs. Surviving Family include: Son, Jonathan Golden of Sparta; sister Sabra Bussell of Smithville; Brother Dewayne Marcus of Cookeville. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Billy “Bill” Dow Whitehead, 77 of Buffalo Valley, will be Monday, March 1 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery in the Rock Springs Community of Putnam County. Bro. Houston Jared will officiate. Bill worked in maintenance at the Buffalo Valley Rest Area on I-40. He also was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. Survivors include son Shane Whitehead of Buffalo Valley and fiance Amanda Williams. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 8 PM and after 9 AM Monday until service time at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Mildred Louise Brown, 84, of Gainesboro, will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. She passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Letcher Emerton and Martha Bell Scott Emerton. She was a homemaker. Survivors include 1 Son Donnie Ray Stafford of Gainesboro; 2 Daughters: Patricia Ann Winegar of Gainesboro, and Carolyn Prater of Sparta. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
Funeral services for Tommy G. Speakman, age 88 of Baxter, will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. David Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. He passed from this life Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at at his home in Baxter. He was born Wednesday, May 18, 1932 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Benton and Voyd (Brewington) Speakman. He was a loving Father, and Grandfather. He graduated from Central High School in 1950 and also attended Tennessee Polytechnical Institute before joining Military Services. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, receiving various Honors and Awards including the Bronze Star. Upon his retirement he worked at Citizens Bank in Cookeville, Tennessee. After his retirement from the Bank, he owned and operated After Hours ATM Services, Inc. for many years. He was a loyal supporter of Cookeville High School Cavaliers Football Program. He worked the Sideline Chain Crew for 45 years. He also worked the Sideline Chain Crew for the Tennessee Tech OVC Football Program for 20 of those years. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 3, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
