Water Work On Willow Until August 4

Cookeville’s Willow Avenue will have some construction for the next few weeks.

Cookeville Water Department representative Matthew Phillips said the department has a contractor replacing water lines in the area.

Work will be done from Jackson Street to 12th Street. Work began Tuesday and should end Friday, Aug. 4.

Phillips urged motorists to take alternate routes. He encouraged those who must travel on Willow Avenue to use caution and obey the traffic controls.
