Water Boil Advisory Lifted In Monterey

A water boil advisory for Monterey residents has been lifted.

Water plant supervisor Duane Jarrett said water samples came back clean this afternoon, allowing the advisory to end.

Jarrett and state officials implemented the water boil advisory yesterday morning after a water main break drained the town’s entire water supply.

The cancelled advisory allows Monterey residents to safely consume water.
