Walmart Employee Charged For Stealing Cash

Cookeville Police have arrested a 29-year-old Gainesboro man for allegedly stealing money from his place of employment.

Jordan G. Phillips faces a charge of embezzlement for allegedly stealing money from his cash register at Walmart.

A police report stated that Phillips was observed taking money from his cash register on multiple occasions totaling $1,100.

Officer Gloria Fernandez arrested Phillips on Friday and transported him to the Putnam County Jail. Phillips has posted a $1,000 bond.
