A contractor working for Volunteer Energy Cooperative will be conducting power pole inspections in Cumberland County next week.
2 to 6 member crews from Power Pole Maintenance will begin the work on Monday in the Lantana and Lake Tansi areas. Officials said the inspections will allow VEC to identify poles that may need to be replaced. A press release stated that power will not be affected by the inspections.
