Upperman Lady Bees Celebrated Tuesday Morning

Upperman High School students had the chance to celebrate the accomplishments of both its womens basketball team and Special Olympics teams Tuesday morning.

The two state champion teams honored at a pep rally Tuesday. The Special Olympics basketball team has won four consecutive state championships. The Lady Bees won a second straight state championship in March.

The students will also visit Baxter Elementary School Tuesday to celebrate the championship.

On Thursday, the Bees will visit the state capitol.
