The Upper Cumberland needs more than 250 Tennessee Promise mentors before the December 1st application deadline.
255 volunteer mentors will need to sign up in order to meet student demand in the region. 241 mentors have already been recruited, which is 49-percent of the total volunteer mentors needed.
A volunteer mentor is assigned to each Tennessee Promise applicant in 84 of Tennessee’s 95 counties.
