The Upper Cumberland Home and Garden show takes place on Friday through Sunday at Hyder-Burks Agricultural Pavilion. The Home and Garden Show showcases over 150 exhibits relating to home building, remodeling and landscaping.
Melanie Chadwell is the Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of the Upper Cumberland.
“It’s not just for people planning major projects,” Chadwell said. “It’s really just for everybody.”
Chadwell said The Home and Garden Show has been part of spring for nearly 50 years. The Home Builders Association coordinated the Home and Garden Show since day one and continues to plan the show to this day.
Despite having assorted locations, The Home and Garden Show has taken place at Hyder-Burks Pavilion for the past several years.
Attendees can enjoy cooking demonstrations and various classes throughout the three day event. Demonstrations include basket making, chair caning, bee keeping and quilting.
