UCEMC Card Payment System Down After Comcast Outage

A Comcast outage in Carthage has caused Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation’s card system to go offline.

IT Manager Wade Givens said members will not be able to make credit card payments until services are restored. Bills can be paid however by cash or check in office. Givens said Comcast has indicated that the outage should be restored by the end of the day.

The outage also impacts the 800 number and email, so outage calls will be rerouted.
