UCDD Will Offer Home Bound Residents COVID Vaccinations

Home bound residents in the Upper Cumberland can soon be COVID vaccinated from their residence.

UCDD’s Area Agency on Aging and Disability plan to offer the service in the coming weeks. Director Holly Williams said the agency is aware of a number of residents that  are not vaccinated and can not utilize transportation.

“If you have individuals in your communities that you know are in this particular type of situation, please send them or refer them to our office, because we are keeping a list,” Williams said.

Williams said the last thing needed for the service is a home health agency to work with the development district to administer the vaccines.
