The Upper Cumberland’s number of COVID-19 cases has topped 300 positive tests, according to the Tennessee Department Of Health.
9,918 cases have been reported across the state, with 302 across our region. Putnam County leads the region with 114 cases and 5 deaths. Cumberland County had tallied 68 cases but no deaths.
Four other Upper Cumberland cases are reporting double-digit cases as of Monday: Macon (39), Smith (19), Dekalb (14), and Cannon (11). Overton County reports eight positive cases, Jackson and Warren report seven. Clay County has five positive cases. Fentress and White Counties have four cases. Van Buren County reported two cases.
A total of 184 people have died statewide from COVID-19.
