Six Upper Cumberland testing sites will extend COVID testing hours leading into and out of the Thanksgiving holiday.
On Monday, November 23 and November 30 operating hours will be extended from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM in Putnam County, Cumberland, Dekalb, Macon, Overton and Warren Counties. Putnam County and Macon County will hold its extended hours at each county’s fairgrounds. The other four will be at the individual county health department.
All 89 rural county health departments will be open November 23 until November 25. County Health Departments will be closed and not provide COVID testing from November 26 until November 28.
Participants should receive their results within 72 hours, depending on the number of tests given. Information on what to expect after testing will be provided on-site. These are free COVID-19 tests.
