Cumberland County authorities have detained a suspect in connection to a Tuesday evening shooting that wounded two people.
The incident happened at a location on Wilbanks Road off Highway 70.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the two victims suffered gunshot wounds to the legs. The unidentified victims are receiving treatment at area medical centers.
Officials said there is no threat to the public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
