Two Clarkrange funeral homes suffered major damage after severe weather swept through Fentress County Friday.
EMA Director James Bilbrey said Saturday both Mundy Funeral Home and Jennings Funeral Home were both damaged by apparent straight line winds.
Volunteer Electric reports over 10 percent of its Fentress County customers are without power Saturday morning with approximately 1,100 outages reported. Officials say as many as 5,000 customers were without power at the storm’s peak Friday night.
Bilbrey reports most roadways have been cleared with some scattered debris on smaller county roads.
