Two juveniles face multiple charges after leading Cookeville Police on a short vehicle pursuit early Monday morning.
According to Captain Bobby Anderson, the suspects were apprehended around 1:25 a.m. after they were found driving a stolen vehicle from Roane County.
The suspects’ names have not been released since they are minors.
A third suspect – 17-year old Kedontez La Danus Woodland Murray – remains at large after fleeing from the scene and evading police. Murray is now wanted by CPD following two vehicle theft attempts on North Willow Avenue Monday.
According to CPD, Murray is believed to be heading towards the Nashville area in a white 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser with rear-end damage. Anderson said CPD contacted Nashville law enforcement to be on the lookout for Murray.
