Two Charged After CCSO Deputies Recover Stolen Car

Two people were arrested Tuesday after Cumberland County deputies stopped a stolen vehicle that was reported stolen near Crossville.

Robin Lang Hogan, 27 of Crossville, was pulled over after merging onto I-40 eastbound. Arrest reports indicate the deputy who pulled Hogan over knew he had outstanding warrants.

Hogan admitted having marijuana and drugs in the car with him, which were in the possession of his passenger, 39-year-old Shiloh Jean Elmore of Sparta.

A search of the vehicle led to deputies recovering 10 grams of marijuana and approximately four grams of a crystalline substance.

Hogan was charged with felony manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth, manufacture, sale or delivery of a controlled substance, theft of property and two counts each of violation of probation and failure to appear. His bond was set at $30,000 with a court date scheduled for Thursday.

Elmore was arrested for theft of property and placed under $10,000 bond. Her court date is scheduled for November 26.

The vehicle – which included a stolen license plate – was towed with a hold placed on it, as its owner is currently incarcerated.
