Two businesses are slated to move to the Shoppes at Eagle Point and Interstate Drive area in Cookeville over the next several months.
Charter Spectrum, currently located on West Broad Street, is expected to move to the new Shoppes location in the near future after recently signing an agreement to make the move.
Meanwhile, steakhouse chain Texas Roadhouse is expected to move into a new location off Interstate Drive near Starbucks. Braddock Way Development, of Asheville, North Carolina, is expected to begin construction in November with the restaurant slated to open Summer 2019. Texas Roadhouse is currently hiring managers for its new location in their website.
A statement released by County Executive Randy Porter indicates Texas Roadhouse could join other new restaurants in the area like Chipotle, Panera Bread, and Five Guys Burgers, but details remain “sketchy.”
Chinese restaurant chain Panda Express is currently under construction just off South Walnut Avenue, another addition to the Shoppes at Eagle Point.
