News Talk 94.1/AM 1600 Where The Upper Cumberland Talks
The Tennessee Valley Authority will disconnect power Saturday, June 3rd to Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation members served from the Livingston Substation.
The power interruption is needed by TVA to replace equipment. Upper Cumberland Electric will take advantage of the outage to do necessary maintenance on its equipment.
The scheduled power outage will begin at 10:00 PM Saturday and could last for up to six hours into Sunday morning.
Areas that will be affected include the Town of Livingston, Allons, Hilham, Timothy, Turkey Town, Windle Community Road, Monterey Highway, Highway 136 and Upper Hilham Highway.
Officials say the maintenance must be performed to maintain the reliability of the system.
