TTU To Hold Two Commencement Ceremonies On Saturday

Two commencement ceremonies will be held at Tennessee Tech Saturday.

Tech will award 1,223 degrees, that include undergraduate degrees in 39 fields of study and graduate degrees in 22 fields of study, in two commencement ceremonies.

Tennessee Tech president Phil Oldham will preside over commencement ceremonies while Christy Killman, chairperson of Tech’s exercise science, physical education and wellness department and president of the faculty senate, will be the commencement speaker.

The morning ceremony will be for graduates of the colleges of arts & sciences, engineering and interdisciplinary studies and the school of nursing along with graduate students from each of those colleges. The afternoon ceremony will include graduates of the colleges of agriculture & human ecology, business, education and fine arts as well as graduate students from each of those colleges

Both commencement ceremonies will take place inside the Hooper Eblen Center. The first ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m.
