Governor Bill Haslam’s three year transportation plan includes funding for a major Upper Cumberland road project.
The plan announced Tuesday will include funding for the widening of Highway 127 leading into Fentress County.
The project calls widening the roadway near Little Road North of State Route 62 to North of South Franklin Loop Road. It will also widen from Lowe Road in Cumberland County to State Route 62 at Clarkrange.
The 5.5 mile project will cost $78 million.
