Train Strikes Pedestrian In Monterey

Putnam County officials have confirmed that a train struck a pedestrian in Monterey this afternoon.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Grant Lane and Woodcliff Road.

Authorities have not provided any additional details at this time.

Sheriff’s office personnel and other emergency responders are currently on scene and investigating the incident.
