Late Tuesday night, while executing a traffic stop, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies observed the driver – Joseph Robert Altum, 23, of Crossville – acting overly nervous. Altum reportedly claimed it was because he didn’t have insurance. The arrest report noted Altum admitted to having not used meth in a week. A consent search of the vehicle turned up approximately 0.8 grams of meth. Altum was charged with manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of meth. His court date is set for November 5.
