A shooting at the Cumberland County Schools bus garage left three people wounded Friday afternoon.
Crossville Police officials said officers responded to the bus garage on Genesis Road at approximately 2:27 p.m. for a call of shots fired.
According to a press release from the Crossville Police Department, officers arrived at the location and found two adult males and a female in the parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. It’s believed that the shooter was among the three wounded.
The conditions and identities of the wounded remain unknown, but Crossville Emergency Medical personnel were on scene rendering aid and an air ambulance landed at the scene.
The press release said statements are being taken from witnesses and evidence collection is underway.
The Cumberland County District Attorney General’s office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have been notified and are currently involved in the investigation.
