Three Candidates On Ballot For Livingston Voting Wednesday

Overton County Election Commission expects a slow day for voting in Livingston Wednesday.

Administrator of Elections Craig Story said that the day should run smoothly with just three candidates running for three alderman slots

“An election is an election so we do go through the same process with all of them,” Story said. “There are a few changes tomorrow as far as the hours go. We’ll start at 10 a.m. tomorrow and end at 6 p.m. which is a little different than what we normally do.”

Story said that the three candidates on the ballot are Chris Speck, Bruce Elder, and David Langford.

Story said that although it’s a simple race, they still encourage Livingston voters to get out to the polls and take part in the Democratic process. He said voters should arrive with a Tennessee or federal photo I.D. to be able to vote.
