The Tennessee Highway Patrol is competing with other agencies across the country for the title of best-looking cruisers in America.
The winning agency will be featured in the American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) 2020 calendar.
As of Friday morning, Tennessee ranked seventh behind Nebraska, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Ohio state police with just under six percent of the vote.
The THP’s entry showcases the agency’s common black-and-gold Ford Explorer SUV on the streets of Nashville.
Last year, voters nationwide ranked the THP fifth overall with Kentucky State Police earning the top spot.
Upper Cumberland residents can vote for the THP’s entry through Tuesday, July 30 at 2 p.m. central.
