A man suffered injuries after a homemade device exploded at his Macon County home Thursday.
The incident happened just after midnight on Rocky Mound Road in Westmoreland.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Sergeant Kent Norris said the unidentified man suffered a hand injury after the device exploded. He received treatment at a Nashville hospital following the incident.
Norris said THP Special Operations worked with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to search for additional devices on the property.
