The White County Commission will gather Monday to discuss three budget resolutions. Changes could be made to the county’s general fund, public works fund and drug control fund.
The commission will also hear reports from the county’s committees. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the White County Courthouse.
Monday, the Fentress County Commission will meet at 6:00 p.m. via conference call. The purchase of about 15 acres near South York Highway for the county’s new agriculture pavilion will be discussed. The purchase will only happen if the soil can support a structure.
Renaming the bridge on Jonesville Road to the Gerald Michael Hall Bridge will also be considered.
