This week in the Upper Cumberland the Overton County Commission will consider bidding out an ambulance roof repair Monday.
Commissioners will also act on a grant application for the senior center for $8,000. Business begins at 5:00 p.m.
The Putnam County Board of Education and County Commission meets in joint session Monday. Future enrollment and funding for the 5-8 grade wing of the new Park View School will be discussed.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Cookeville Higher Education campus.
The Jackson County Commission will consider its new fiscal year budget Monday. It includes a small increase in salaries, water line replacements and HVAC work at the jail.
Business starts at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, the Celina Board of Aldermen will meet. A controversial sign about drugs placed by the city on a low-income housing property expected to be discussed. It starts at 6:00 p.m.
Increased fuel funding will be considered by the Van Buren County Commission as a part of its new budget. Commissioners gather Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
The Overton County Board of Education also meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, the Sparta Board of Aldermen meets after cancelling its meeting on Election Night. It starts at 5:00 p.m. Baxter City Council did the same thing and will meet at 5:00 p.m.
