This Week in the Upper Cumberland the Overton County Commission will consider a $1.5 million dollar budget amendment requested by the school board Monday.
The amendment will move the remainder of money approved for the Livingston Academy stadium project. A total of $5.8 million was allocated but only $4.3 million has been moved to capital projects at this time.
Commissioner Donna Savage will give an annual audit report. The audit committee has recognized findings against the school system and county clerk. The meeting begins at 5:00 p.m.
The Byrdstown Board of Aldermen will hear a report from its Engineer Nathaniel Green Monday night. The board will discuss the next steps to improve settling basins in the water system that control water pollution.
Business begins at 5:00 p.m.
The Putnam County Budget Committee and County School Board will hold its annual joint meeting Monday. Officials will discuss capital improvements and school budget requests.
The work session will take place in the commission chambers at 5:30.
The Pickett County School Board meets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Tuesday, the Celina Board of Aldermen will hear a proposal from a third-party interested in the Cumberland River Hospital Facility. Business begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Algood City Council will consider an ordinance that would amend fees and fines for building permits. The council will also have its first reading of its new fiscal year budget.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. The Overton County School Board will have a meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with a work session to follow.
Thursday, the White County School Board meets at 6:00 p.m. as well as the Clay County School Board.
