Tennessee Tech officials have suspended all international travel related to the University indefinitely.
The move comes as the number of coronavirus cases worldwide topped 108 thousand Monday.
Tech officials encouraged all campus community members to curtail personal international travel until further notice. Officials said everyone should be “mindful” of domestic travel.
“We want students, parents and the campus community to be confident that we are in constant communication with local and state officials to help us provide accurate and timely information,” President Phil Oldham said.
Tennessee Tech formed a Coronavirus Task Force last week chaired by Oldham.
