Tech’s Capital Campaign Raises More Than $40 Million

Tennessee Tech’s capital campaign has raised more than $40 million.

Vice President of University Advancement Dr. Kevin Braswell said the campaign began about three years ago.

“It does go to infrastructure investments and that’s the focus of the campaign, but we have two additional focal points. One of them scholarships that make it easier for students of all backgrounds to make their way to tech, and the other is faculty support,” Braswell said.

Faculty support includes travel, research presentations and endowed faculty positions.

Braswell said matching individuals, groups and businesses with their interests and memories at tech are very important.

“When we can make a great match, it works out well for the university and the donor and makes an impact here and brings donors a lot of pleasure too, so that, for me is the excitement of the philanthropic process,” Braswell said.

The Tennessee Tech Tomorrow capital campaign will end in 2021. To learn more or to donate, visit Tech’s website.
