Tennessee Tech has been ranked as a top national university for ten years in a row by U.S. News & World Report.
Tech was recognized for its success across nine categories including social mobility, business, computer science, engineering, nursing, and psychology. The university was also named in U.S. News’s lists for top public universities and “A+ Schools for B Students,” a category for high-performing schools with less strict enrollment requirements.
Tech’s Department of Computer Science improved its ranking by fifty-six spaces to be named among the top three computer science programs in the state and the top two among public universities. Tech was also listed as one of the two best public universities in Tennessee for engineering, freshman retention rates, graduation rates, high school ACT scores, and alumni earnings.
The rankings displayed that, like last year, Tech graduates have the lowest median debt of all public university graduates in Tennessee.
