TCAT Livingston will be showing off its campus and programs for its Week of Welcome.
That begins Monday, with an open house on Tuesday. TCAT Student Services Counselor Morgan Sims said the open house will have a scholarship drawing, and staff available to help with financial aid and applications.
“It’s really a week for potential students to get to know the instructor of the program that they’re interested in or the program they’ve already applied for,” Sims said. “Get a feel for the campus and get to see their classroom or workshop.”
She said prospective students will get to learn about welding, building construction, industrial maintenance and IT programs. Sims said the program TCAT Livingston is especially excited to highlight is the nursing program.
“It is starting, we’re enrolling it in the Summer,” Sims said. “So that one is offered at two different campuses, this one will start in Livingston. We’ll have our instructors on site here in Livingston, they can meet those instructors and learn more about the clinical sites that are offered all across our area in the Upper Cumberland.”
Week of Welcome will run from March 15 to March 18. The open house is from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Sims said day tours can be scheduled by calling (931) 823-5525.
