TBI Leading Investigation Into Friday Night I-40 Officer Shooting

The TBI investigating an officer involved shooting along Interstate 40 in Crossville Friday night.

Westbound lanes of I-40 near mile marker 311 were closed for a couple of hours. The interstate reopened after midnight.

Cumberland County Sheriffs investigators were on the scene. It is not clear what led to the shooting. The condition of the officer not known.
