Monterey Aldermen approved city officials Monday night to begin negotiating a contract with a potential consultant for infrastructure projects. Putnam County road crews are out Monday repairing road damages from this weekend’s flash flooding. Road Supervisor Randy Jones said the western portion of the county was the hardest hit.
