Livingston is considering rezoning eight properties around the old shirt factory into its central business district. Livingston Community Planner Tommy Lee said the properties are currently zoned for light industrial, only allowing for manufacturing. LED street signs will be coming to Livingston after approval by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen Monday night. The LED street markers will be placed around the courthouse square downtown, replacing the standard green signage.
