The Overton County Library will be holding free virtual demonstrations Friday on how to access their digital collections. Telescopes Available At Millard Oakley Public Library

The Millard Oakley Public Library has two telescopes for check-out for Overton County’s amateur astronomers. Director Cynthia Julian-Simmons said the Friends of The Library group applied for the grant that got the telescopes. Over 2,500 magazines are now available to read anywhere and all that is needed is a library card at the Millard Oakley Library. The program Tennessee R.E.A.D.S. hosts the digital catalog for libraries across the state, and readers can download them anywhere with a WiFi connection.
