Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris wants to add roughly 60 new positions to help staff the new justice center. Dekalb County Jail To Be Studied For Expansion Possibilities

A decision on whether to expand or build a new Dekalb County Jail is coming for the county commission. The State Comptroller’s Office is requiring Van Buren officials to complete County Technical Assistance Services classes.
