Putnam County School Nutrition Changes

Beginning Wednesday, Putnam County School Nutrition distribution will change. Putnam County School Nutrition will serve a two-day supply of meals each Monday and Wednesday, and then the regular meal distribution will take place on Friday. COVID-19 cases continue to increase slowly across the Upper Cumberland with 148 cases reported Thursday. 4892 New Unemployment Claims In Upper Cumberland

Another 4,892 Upper Cumberland residents applied for unemployment last week. That brings the two-week total to over 9,000 first-time unemployment claims according to the Tennessee Department Of Labor. Statewide, the unemployment claims for the week ending April 4 increased to over 112,400. In four weeks, more than 110,000 people have lost their jobs because of COVID-19. Read More »
