Pickett Co Reports First COVID Case

Pickett County reported its first case of COVID-19 with Sunday’s data release. That brings the Upper Cumberland total to 446 cases. The Tennessee Tech class of 2020 will join together for spring commencement Saturday August 8. Three ceremonies will be held to allow for social distancing. The Cumberland County Health Department will add expanded testing hours Thursday. Thursday, testing will be held from 1pm to 6pm at the Health Department located at 1503 South Main Street. Crossville Ratcheting Down Revenue Plans

Crossville City Council members will look at a graduated one-time bonus for city employees when they begin considering the city’s budget. Cookeville Regional Medical Center resumed outpatient surgeries and procedures on Monday. Surgeons and staff are currently working to reschedule patients whose procedures had been postponed.
