Cookeville firefighters have contained the Wednesday morning fire to the Crawdaddy’s building downtown. Fire Chief Daryl Blair said just after 6:00am that crews have stopped the extension of the fire to surrounding businesses. Department personnel are working on several hot spots in the structure.
