Cookeville Electric will propose no rate increase in the new budget year. During Wednesday’s meeting with city council members, Electric Department Director Carl Haney projected revenues of $54.18 million. Cookeville Electric Works To Restore Power In Park Village

Cookeville Electric and contracted cutting crews worked to restore power in the Park Village subdivision Thursday. Director Carl Haney said two crews went into the subdivision off 10th street Thursday. Power Restored To About 4,000 UCEMC Putnam Customers

In the past 12 hours, the Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation has restored about 4,000 outages in Putnam County. According to Mayor Randy Porter, about 6,500 customers are still without electricity. The Cookeville Electric Department has less than 300 without power. Two circuit outages in Cookeville led to about 4,000 electric customers losing power early Sunday morning.
